2000 GMC Sierra 1500 Pickup Truck in Cochrane, AB

2000 GMC 1500, 4X4, 5.3 V8, Auto

Extended cab, short box, has suicide rear door on the one side of the truck. Base model truck, no options. Topper, plastic bedliner.

Truck is in rough shape. The rockers are real rusty and the interior is worn. Transmission has no 3rd gear, 1st and 2nd work fine but it will not shift into 3rd. Will shift into Overdrive from 2nd if the engine is revved high enough. I have a spare transmission that is good sitting in the box. High mileage, but I believe the engine is not original as it runs like brand new.

With the exception of the transmission, the driveline is solid. Engine runs smooth and powerful, Transfer case 4x4 works fine in both high and low range and has the limited slip rear diff. Does not leak a drop of oil ANYWHERE!

I had originally bought this truck with the plans of removing the body and making a rat rod with the frame and 4X4 drivetrain. I have since sold the body of the rat rod and have no use for the truck anymore. I had thought about parting it out as well but frankly i just dont want to go through all the work and mess of doing so.

If you dont have the money or don't like the price, don't contact me. Not trying to be rude, but I am a busy guy. I also WILL NOT deliver this truck. It can be driven home if it had to be but it would be best pulled on a trailer. Truck is stored at the house I am building in Cochrane, you can come see it Monday-Saturdays 8am to 530 pm.
